it’s monday of the last week of summer, and the big kid has begun re-entry into preschool care. by all accounts it’s been a fantastic time but, admittedly, all parties (especially him!) are also excited about the return of structure, routine, activities, and lotsa little friends to keep him busy, engaged, and happy.
and, while he’s there doing what little boys do, i have big plans: i’ll be lovin’ up baby as much as possible and trying to get a hold of our life by maximizing nap time productiveness.
on the to-do list this week? nothing major. in addition to making space to heal my grieving heart, i will try to get our life completely sorted, organized, and well oiled; the house purged, cleaned and socially acceptable; and my body in the groove towards arriving at trimmed, toned, and fit.
sounds realistic, yah? i agree. so, feeling pumped and ready to go, i started with the weekly budget.
dude, what a buzz kill.
